really like these teaching
books. The information is
presented in a progressive
sequence that makes a lot
of sense to me. Each
technique is demonstrated
in context with examples of
how to use it in various
flamenco forms. Por
Farruca, Por Soleares, etc.
This is a teaching method I
have always favored but I
find sadly lacking in other
books. It also has easy to
follow sketches showing the
exact movements of the
hand. It's not often I come
across a book that strikes
me as excellent from the
first glance. This one is
one of those rare study
manuals that is absolutely
crammed with practical
learning material from
cover to cover.
